Welcome to Horsens Cultural-Historical Society

The society was founded 2005 as a fusion of two local historical societies in Horsens. The purpose of the society is to promote cultural-historical knowledge by means of lectures, excursions, exhibitions and other cultural-historical activities as well as supporting the Town Museum and the Town Archives in Horsens.

The members of the society can participate in various teams. At the moment there are teams occupied with registration work at the Town Archives, amateur archaeology and the European Medieval Festival in Horsens.

The society arranges bus-rides to historial sites both in Denmark and abroad.
The soicety will also arrange lectures, excursions and social gatherings in the future.
